Mold Inspections for Property Managers: When there has been water damage, flooding or humidity issues in a property, mold if frequently the result. Mold damage is costly and problematic for health. Water damage should be addressed when it happens ...not weeks or months later. Mold Testing and Inspections are the proper way to diagnose a potential mold problem and determine the best way to resolve it. For properties with visible microbial growth on surface and contents, PowerBees will inspect the property for mold and provide a mold remediation estimate. A surface sample can be taken to confirm the species and how active it is. If there is no visible mold, and there is an odor or suspici9an that airborne mold is present, PowerBees offers Mold Testing to establish that a mold problem does or does not exist. The mold testing includes the collections of indoor and out door air samples. The results of that testing are used to develop what's called a mold remediation protocol, or set of steps

necessary to resolve the mold problem. During the Mold Inspection process, PowerBees collects various data and information, such as a history of past or present water damage at the property, moisture measurements, humidity measurements, temperatures, known health issues of the occupants, and all other relevant facts that help us understand the problem and how to best resolve it. Once the results are received back from the lab, PowerBees will write a report. The mold testing report includes all the information collected during the mold assessment, the air and surface sample results, an explanation of what has been identified by the lab, and a detailed step by step set of recommendations on how to resolve the mold problem

• PowerBees will take a sample from the outside to compare indoor air to the outdoor air – this is called a baseline comparison to determine what is in the environment around the building. • The samples are sealed and sent along with the chain of custody to an independent third-party lab where they are processed. This usually takes three to five business days. • Rush Processing – upon request, PowerBees can have those samples rushed at the lab for an extra fee. Rushed samples are typically available within one to two business days. • PowerBees will review the results and write a report of our findings.
