To inspect a home or building for mold, PowerBees provides following as part of the microbial investigation:
PowerBees sends a mold inspector, certified for both residential and commercial mold inspections, to your office building or home for the mold inspection.
The mold investigation consists of gathering a history of property and a history of past water or moisture penetration into the home or dwelling. A comprehensive history of the property is important for determining an accurate mold remediation protocol if testing is abnormal.
PowerBees also takes humidity and moisture readings, inspects for visible mold, water damage and any root cause. PowerBees will also asses the exterior of the home or office building for problems that result in interior water damage.
PowerBees may collect air samples, surface samples or a combination of both during the mold investigation.
PowerBees will take a sample from the outside to compare indoor air to the outdoor air – this is called a baseline comparison.
Prior to sending the samples to an independent third-party lab, PowerBees seals and sends all samples the samples out for processing. PowerBees can have those samples rushed through processing for an extra fee. Rushed samples are typically available within 36 hours …sometimes the next day.
PowerBees will review the results, when they’ve become available, along with the data we’ve accumulated while inspection the home or building for mold, to generate a detailed report stating the history of the property, the physical data we’ve collected e.g., humidity and moisture readings, a results summary a detailed set of recommendations to resolve the mold if the samples come back as abnormal. PowerBees may recommend additional microbial air or surface sampling if the results come back high.
If PowerBees noticed any problems with the home of building’s exterior during the investigation, a set of recommendations will be provided to address those issues as well. Item Link
