PowerBees Treats and Mitigates Sudbury Water Damage in
Basement

Ms. Ramirez was referred to PowerBees by a friend who had
previously received emergency water damage mitigation services in Sudbury from PowerBees.
Ms. Ramirez reported that she had standing water in her basement due to a leak
in the intake on her water heater. The Sudbury

First, a Mold Inspection is Needed
An initial inspection of
the flooded basement area revealed staining on the walls indicating that
immediate extraction would be necessary and steps would need to be taken to
mitigate any possible mold growth that may have occurred due to the presence of
standing water. After preparing an estimate for water damage mitigation and
mold remediation that was accepted by Ms. Ramirez, PowerBees extracted the
standing water and installed dehumidifiers and air scrubbers to dry out the
area and limit any potential transmission of airborne mold spores. HEPA vacuums
were used on the entire affected area and EPA-approved antimicrobial treatments
were applied to ensure that any present mold would be eliminated. Ms. Ramirez
